About PCC
Since 2002 Tecnare have been designing and developing Self-Powered sound systems by DSP, namely a PCC Speaker and controlled by laptop via software.
After many years of experience, we are happy to introduce the new PCC-3 Technology, a network platform that include both software (PCC-Net) and hardware DSP for the control, diagnostic and monitoring of TECNARE’s Loudspeaker
A standard PCC-3 speaker houses one or more efficient and reliable switched mode power supply Class D module amps and a high quality 96kHz audio DSP processor. All these PCC speakers are linked by a network via CAT-5 cable and Rj45 connection through a USB interface to the laptop.
ORIGINAL Series. Launched in 2002
COBRANET Series. Launched in 2005
ADVANCED Series. Launched in 2010
CONTROL & MONITORING SOFTWARE
The PCC-3 package comprise of System Engineer Software, PCC-Net protocol, PCC-NET Interface drivers and of course, the TECNARE loudspeakers.
Once connected, we can control in real time the parameters of each speaker individually or grouped as we decide, factors such as volume, graphic equalization, parametric equalization, box delay, save and recall of presets, polarity, real-time diagnostics and more!
Cant you imagine, when working with a line array system, adjusting differently the array elements used for downfil to the ones used on top of the line, ONLY with the help of a small laptop?
And what about also controlling your monitors using ONLY a small laptop… while on the same screen a very powerful audio tool is monitoring the audio response? Using this technology, you can forget about racks, eqs, crossovers, patches, etc.
PCC│NET – System Engineer Software
System Engineer
All Tecnare digital system controllers can be controlled by the System Engineer® Loudspeaker System Control Software Package, which will allow remote access to all controller functions. Controllers fitted with network cards can also be networked via Cat 5 connections and controlled from the one screen. Grouping of controllers is also possible.
System Engineer is an all-new software package running under PC Windows™ for setting up and controlling device that are compatible with Obcom Protocol.
It is a clean Object Oriented package using the latest development technologies yielding intuitive ease of use and all the features you have come to expect and more. System Engineer may be used for programming factory settings or configuring installations as well as the live control and monitoring of devices during use. System Engineer uses the ObCom standard throughout; it speaks ObCom natively with connected devices. These devices may be connected individually using RS232 or USB. When participating in a networked system, System Engineer can control many devices via Ethernet and RS485.
System Engineer can be used as a plug-in with AFMG SysTune audio analysis software.
